So Irritated!

I woke up this morning and realized I slept funny on my right shoulder because I can't raise my right arm or turn my head to the right.

Now normally I would be irritated at the loss of mobility but today I'm irritated AND frustrated because I have an order to get out and I cannot get this thing to loosen up. I've stretched and ran hot water over it. Took Tylenol and tried to lay down in different positions to try to work the kink out. I just can't get it to improve. I can't safely drive my car because I can't turn my head to see if anyone is coming from the right. Even worse the boy's car seat is on that side of the car and if I do miss something because of this kink, I wouldn't be able to live with myself.

I sent a message to my poor customer to let her know what was happening. Monday is one of my scheduled ship dates and I really try to adhere to that schedule during the slow months.(Unless I need to go to the post office for some other reason before that and then I'll ship early.) I am so irritated with myself but I don't know how I could have done anything different, I know I didn't plan for this to happen. On top of that, I can barely lift my son. Trying to get him up on the changing table was something else. Luckily, he can walk up the steps, but trying to hold him while he wiggles and squirms is unbearable.

So I'm irritated! I can lift my arm to shoulder level now and can turn my head about a quarter turn to the right. It's much better than it was first thing this morning but not where it needs to be. I'm sure it will be better tomorrow(assuming I don't lay on it funny tonight) In the meantime, I must find a special little extra to send my dear customer. Please send positive healing energy my way and if you have any possible solutions to work out the kink, I'd love to hear them!:o)

I'm sorry to hear about that! Unfortunately that sounds like one of those injuries that you just need to wait a bit to go away. Did you try a heating pad? Hopefully your customer will be understanding. On a lighter note...perhaps you can stop sleeping from now on and that will prevent things like that from happening in the future? Haha. Hope you feel better soon!

You could try laying on your stomach and letting your little one walk on your back. With his light weight it would be like getting a massage and might work out the kinks. Just make sure he has something to hang on to while he walks all over mommy :D

Take Tylenol every 4 hours, alternate heat then ice.Try stretching, but not to the point of pain.
I will send you my bill! LOL
(found you through entrecards)
Good luck.
