Sneek Peak at Another Project in the Works

When I was little, the first Christmas tree I remember had the big retro Christmas lights. I still love them (must be the nostalgia!) These felt "lights" are in homage to those. I have a vague idea of how I will finish these. When they are complete, I will post those pictures too.

These are so cute! I loved our large outdoor lights that my dad always hung in our bushes outside every year. They are the best kind:)

Oh, cute! what are you going to do with them?? Perhaps string them make a garland out of them. That would be adorable on a mantel or something at Christmas!

Thanks everyone! And yes Lin, my original idea was to make a garland but as I stitch them I keep having other ideas, too. We'll see :o)

I have the perfect piece of furniture for the garland. To my husband's chagrin I will probably be decking the halls in July for pictures!!LOL

I love the old light bulbs too! But not the whole searching to figure out which one is broken :P
