Playing with my Camera in My Garden

It is such a nice day and my little one is taking a nap. I can't go out and work in the garden but I can play with my camera's macro setting, textures, composition and shapes!

Lovely. You did some fine work there! The depth of field is really apparent.

The colors are so lush and gorgeous! Lovely:)

Thanks for the comments about my crafting post. I've really enjoyed hearing what others think about the topic. It's so true though, crafting is so uplifting and positive, it can't help but reach out to others and make them feel the same way.

I was deeply touched by your shots. Thank you for the picks that point to the roots of the beauty and radiates with refreshing power of the attitude towards life that has just one goal to spread the gratitude.

Great macros! I need to go out and take some pix of my flowers. What are the red five-pointed leaves?

Those five-pointed leaves are from my son's Japanese maple tree. They are only about an inch wide maybe smaller! The tree itself will get no larger than 5 feet. We bought it while I was pregnant with him in hopes we could take care of it together as he and it grows. It is in a large pot so that we can take it with us whenever we move. It is a beautiful little tree and the leaves are always changing colors.
