In the Garden

Moss Pinks
These are extremely bright fuchsia but the camera doesn't do it justice.
Shortly, there will be a bright blanket of flowers around the light pole!

Our Baby Bird

We have a bird's nest up in our eaves. This little guy and his mama were on our front porch this afternoon. (I hope he is actually able to fly.) They were having a great feast on birdseed leftover from our squirrel a day or two before. So cute!

Project Morphed

I found some usage tips on the Gallery Glass website but I've decided that I like the idea of window clings so I will pursue the baby food jar idea with enamel paints and use the Gallery Glass to create window clings. Back to my Christmas ornaments!

The Baby Food Jar Project

Okay, so I've decided I don't like the Gallery Glass. It is very hard to control. I have a fairly steady hand but it is almost impossible to apply a clean steady line of this stuff due to its consistency. My guess is it would probably work better on a larger flat surface. I am going to go to their site and see if they have any pointers. Otherwise, I will use the enamel paints I have. Applied by brush, I know I can control these! I do like the little retro lights though.:o)

Garden Walk

Buttercups

Peony
( just wait til these open, they are GORGEOUS!)

These pretty little things are growing in my grass.
I'm going to transplant them to the flower bed if I can
(after I make sure they aren't some invasive weed)

Here are the newest shots of the flowers. I hope to actually post some pictures of my current projects but they are all Christmas ornaments so I figured most folks wouldn't be all that excited to see holiday stuff in May. I will post them over the next few weeks but why not share the garden, it's awfully pretty!
