Isn't the second one a dianthis? Sweet William doesn't look like that here--although in different climates, plants do have variations. I do enjoy your photos!
Well, Sweet William is part of the Dianthus family.(dianthus barbatus)They may not look the same because the full head hasn't developed??? I've only seen the full multi-flowered type of Sweet William but looking online I've noticed another variety that looks more similar to the other members of the Dianthus family.

Yes, I thought the first one was dianthus, too. You're going to have so many pretty flowers! :)
