Green Idea - Seedling Pots

I originally was going to make all of my seedling pots from newspapers. I kept procrastinating and then lo and behold I came up with this idea to re-purpose my multitudes of plastic baby food containers. Making them takes minimal effort (two good size drainage holes in the bottom that are big enough to soak up water) and I will be able to reuse them year after year. The best part of all, the lids make them little self-contained greenhouses.

Does Anyone Need Quantities of Clean, Empty Baby Food Jars?

I have medium (4oz) and large (6oz) baby food jars. I use them for bug collecting jars, finger paints and spice jars but have an over abundance of them. They would be great for kid's crafts, snow globes and probably many other things. I just spray paint the lids and use them in my pantry and studio for small things. Before I take them to the recycling drop off place(since I'm skeptical that they really do recycle the things dropped there!) I would like to offer them up here. I'll ship as many as you need with their lids for just the cost of shipping. Just leave me a comment with your email and I'll get back to you.:o)
