I took my son to Penitentiary Glen this morning when it was still misty and wet from overnight rain. We were having a great time until he slipped and his rain boot clad foot went all the way into a little marsh area they have. Needless to say, we had to cut that visit short, his little foot squishing with every step, but we went back with his daddy this evening and I was able to capture some of this little park's beauty. It is one of our favorite adventures. I hope you enjoy!

Thanks! The slip didn't really detract from the day too much, we just had to end our first visit a little early (plus it gave us an excuse to go back for a second visit!:o)
What great shots. You've captured nature in all it's glory. Love the squirrels and birds. Those pin cushions are so unique and the path through the trees is blissful. Thanks for sharing these.
